Edge Protection is one of the best ways to prevent falls from roof, void and floor edges. Job Safe Ltd specialise in supplying and installing temporary edge protection systems including safety nets and freestanding handrails (compliant with BS-EN 13374-2013). We have developed, designed and tested the Job Safe Ltd Edge Protection System to fit many different types of steel detail, from traditional column fixings to large overhang details.

Temporary Edge Protection with safety netting
Our system is based on lightweight aluminium ladder beams coupled with various fixings depending on the available steel work detail, to Class A, B and C.
Class A
Protection for flat surfaces and pitched roofing up to an angle of 10°
Class B
protection for flat surfaces and pitched roofing up to an angle of 30°
Class C
Protection for steeply pitched roofing up to an angle of 60°
We attach a safety net to cover the roof overhang detail which has been independently designed and tested in accordance with:
- Temporary Edge Protection to BS-EN 13374-2013
- Safety Netting to BS-EN 1263-1, BS8411
Freestanding Edge Protection
Our easy to install, simple design has rails with flat rubber feet that won’t obstruct the path of roof users to reduce trip hazards. This can be both a temporary and permanent install. Each Class A Free Standing Handrail is tested and designed specifically to BS-EN 13374.
